Conferences give elected officials the opportunity to learn alongside peers, hear from experts, explore emerging issues, and bring new ideas and perspectives back to their communities.

EOA Conference credits recognize participation in qualifying municipal conferences offered by the League and other approved organizations.

League Conferences

You can earn Conference credits by attending major League events, including:

• Capital Conference — 2 Conference credits
• Annual Convention — 2 Conference credits per day, up to 4 credits

Credits for eligible League conferences are added to your EOA record automatically after the event.

National League of Cities Conferences

Participation in qualifying National League of Cities events can also earn Conference credit, including:

• NLC Congressional City Conference — 2 credits
• NLC City Summit — 2 credits

Attending a conference offered by another organization? Qualifying outside conferences are eligible for Elective credit. Learn more about Elective credit opportunities.
