Mayor, City of Springfield

Harry has served as the mayor of the City of Springfield since 2015. He previously served as a councilmember, having been first elected in 1997. Harry also serves on various committees and boards including the Planning Commission, the EDC/ TIFA/BRA board, and the Zoning Board of Appeals. He serves on the Battle Creek Area Transportation Study’s Board of Directors (chairman) and its Policy Committee (chairman). He also serves on the Access Vision Board of Directors.
Harry is a retired state of Michigan Corrections Officer and previously worked for the Calhoun County 10th District Court as a Field Contact Officer. He is an Army veteran and a member of Disabled American Veterans and the American Legion. Harry is seeking election to his first term.

Vice Mayor, City of St. Johns

Brad serves as the Vice Mayor of the City of St. Johns, a position he has held since 2022 following his election to the City Commission in 2020. He also serves as Vice Chair of the Clinton Area Ambulance Service Authority, contributing to regional public safety and emergency service planning. Brad is seeking election to his first term.

Jonathan has more than two decades of government experience at the local, state, and federal level. He has served as Muskegon’s City Manager since 2022. Jonathan previously served as the Township Manager for Gaines Charter Township, and as City Manager and Assistant City Manager/Planning Director for the City of Coopersville. Prior to those positions, Jonathan worked for Muskegon Area First (now GMED) and was Executive Director of Downtown Muskegon Now, where he helped spur the redevelopment of Muskegon’s Western Avenue corridor.

Jonathan is a fifth generation Muskegon County native. He is a graduate of Whitehall High School and holds a Bachelor’s degree in political science and a Master’s degree in international administration from Central Michigan University. He also holds a Master’s in Public Administration with a concentration in Local Government from the University of Colorado Denver. Jonathan and his husband live in the Nelson Neighborhood, where they enjoy being close to all Muskegon has to offer. Jonathan is seeking election to his first term.
