The Michigan Municipal League exclusively endorses Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM) health insurance programs. Our partnership with BCBSM amplifies the voices of local government and League members while helping control League member dues. The Blue Cross Blue Shield partnership is co-sponsored by the  Michigan Townships Association.

To help League members navigate these challenges, we have enlisted the expertise of Michigan Planners to provide access to specialized guidance, educational resources, and personalized support through our Municipal Employee Benefits Program.

Designed with the unique needs of Michigan’s cities, villages, and townships in mind, this program provides members with access to educational resources and personalized support to help them evaluate benefit options, manage costs, and make informed decisions that balance the needs of their employees with the financial realities of their municipal budgets.

Through the program, members can draw on Michigan Planners’ 60+ years of experience in employee benefits, including strategic benefits consulting, employee education, cost management, claims advocacy, compliance support, and benefits administration.

Michigan Municipal League’s Unemployment Fund Group Account
MML’s Unemployment Compensation Fund provides a comprehensive unemployment compensation solution for our participating members. The Fund was established to provide members with a Group Account for paying unemployment claims to the state Unemployment Insurance Agency.
