Classification and Compensation Systems

In developing classification systems, we emphasize customization to meet client needs and provide comprehensive implementation recommendations.

Specifically, our work plan includes:

  • Interviews with all position incumbents
  • Development of ADA-compliant Job Descriptions
  • Custom job evaluation using a point factor system and/or alternative job analysis techniques as appropriate
  • Valid survey techniques designed to accurately match positions to market comparables and effectively capture the competitive labor market of the client
  • Survey and analysis of employee benefits as well as wages
  • Costing and discussion of optional approaches for implementation
  • At the clients request, we will include options for the integration of performance based pay, broad-banding systems and other progressive approaches to pay administration
