The Michigan Municipal League is passing along this 2022 Board of Review Training information per the request of the Michigan Department of Treasury:
All new and returning Board of Review members are required to receive training at least once every two years to meet the requirements in MCL 211.10g.
Staff from the Michigan Department of Treasury will present 2022 Board of Review Member Training Programs in January and February 2022. There are also trainings being conducted by approved instructors and organizations with use of the approved State Tax Commission materials for this training.
Board of Review trainings are three hours in length and will be offered online and at regional locations throughout the State. These training programs are open to all Board of Review members.
A list of the scheduled training programs is attached and will also be made available on the State Tax Commission’s website (www.michigan.gov/statetaxcommission). We will update this schedule as more trainings are added.
