Municipalities Can Apply For Free Help From An Energy Management Consultant

Posted on May 7, 2018 by Dene Westbrook

The Michigan Energy Office (MEO) has announced the release of request for proposals for Michigan municipalities, school districts, and hospital systems to get free energy management consulting services.

Entities may apply to help move their financial or policy priorities forward with ideas about energy waste reduction or renewable energy. They may also apply for assistance with energy efficiency, renewable energy or energy management planning projects and priorities.

Through the MEO’s support, the Michigan Community Energy Partnership (MI-CEP) will provide three months of free energy management consulting services to eight communities in Michigan.

Projects in Rising Tide communities, communities affected by power plant closures and distressed communities will be given priority consideration.

Proposals are due by May 18. For the RFP please click here.
