Michigan Economic Development Corporation Announces Kick-off of Redevelopment Ready Communities Program

The Michigan Economic Development Corporation announced the first round of communities to participate in the statewide launch of the Redevelopment Ready Communities® program (RRC) which will help local municipalities establish a sound foundation for redevelopment to occur in their communities.

RRC is a certification program promoting effective redevelopment strategies through a set of best practices. The program measures and then certifies communities that integrate transparency, predictability and efficiency into their daily development practices. The RRC certification is a formal recognition that a community has a vision for the future and the fundamental practices in place to get there.

Communities receiving a formal RRC evaluation include:

East Lansing

Muskegon
Novi
