Convention Accommodations

Housing reservations will only be accepted for registered Convention attendees and booking information will be in the Convention registration confirmation email. The League will be monitoring registration and hotel lists to ensure rooms are booked by registered attendees. Please reference the Michigan Municipal League Annual Convention when booking.  

The room block at the Amway Grand Plaza has sold out. Please visit Experience Grand Rapids for information on additional hotels in the area.

Fees  

Guests will be responsible for paying their own room, tax, fees, and incidentals incurred by them at the hotel. A method of payment will be required upon arrival at the hotel.  

As a reminder: If you are registering as a Michigan sales tax–exempt organization, you must bring proof of your tax-exempt status with you. It is suggested that you bring a check from your municipality or pay with a municipal credit card. The hotel will not honor your tax-exempt status if you pay with a personal credit card or personal check. 

Parking  

For overnight guests of the hotel, valet parking is available for $15 per night, and self-parking is available for $10 per night. Valet parking is located in the motor lobby off the Pearl Street entrance. Self-parking is available in the Amway Grand Parking Ramp located on the corner of Pearl Street and Monroe Avenue. The parking ramp has unlimited in and out privileges; however, parking in the hotel ramp is not guaranteed. For day guests, hourly rates apply for both self-parking and valet parking.
