We have been informed that Treasury is hosting a webinar for Non-Entitlement Units of Local Government (NEUs) on Monday, March 21 at 3 p.m. ET.<\/strong> The topics will cover reporting and compliance as well as a dive into some policy including an explanation of how to serve impacted and disproportionately impacted populations.<\/p>\n

Below is the email that went to all NEU receipts from Treasury with a link to the webinar. Please share this information with your members.<\/p>\n

As a non-entitlement unit of local government (NEU), you received Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds, authorized by the American Rescue Plan Act.\u00a0If you are an NEU that has already declined SLFRF funds please ignore this e-mail.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This email contains information about an upcoming webinar for NEUs, how to submit required documents, and additional information about reporting.<\/p>\n

The U.S. Department of Treasury is committed to working with NEU recipients to help them \u00a0understand the final rule<\/a>, effectively maximize their use of funds, and meet their reporting obligations, as further delineated in the Compliance and Reporting Guidance<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n
