The Michigan Department of Transportation is pleased to announce the solicitation of
\napplications for candidate projects for the Local Bridge Program<\/a>. Selected projects
\nwill be funded during the 2025 fiscal year (FY). Do not submit projects which cannot
\nbe committed to construction within FY 2025. The applications can be submitted by
\nthe local agency owner or their consultant. All bridge applications submitted in
\nprevious years that have not been selected for funding have been discarded. There is
\na limit of 4 applications from any one local agency. An agency must be able to fund all
\napplications submitted for FY 2025 in that fiscal year.<\/p>\n

The FY 2025 Local Bridge Program budget is estimated at $104 million. $54 million in
\nadditional funding from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) (Public Law
\n117-58, also known as the \u201cBipartisan Infrastructure Law\u201d) will be awarded in FY 2025.
\nThis amount may be subject to revisions.<\/p>\n

All applications are to be electronically submitted by Monday, April 4th , 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n
