Projects and purchases include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overtime<\/li>\n<li>Equipment (including law enforcement and medical personal protective equipment),<\/li>\n<li>Hiring<\/li>\n<li>Supplies (such as gloves, masks, sanitizer), training, travel expenses.<\/li>\n<li>Travel expenses for resource distribution<\/li>\n<li>Addressing the medical needs of inmates in state, local, and tribal prisons, jails, and detention centers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A total of $8,443,973 is available to Michigan communities.\u00a0 You can find the list of eligible cities and their maximum allocations <a href=\"\/inside208\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2020\/04\/fy20-cesf-allocations-mi-2.pdf\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>To access resources: Communities eligible for a local direct award should submit the <a href=\"https:\/\/bja.ojp.gov\/funding\/opportunities\/bja-2020-18553\">application,<\/a> including federal SF424 forms, narrative, and budget, <strong>by May 29, 2020<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Herasanna Richards is a legislative associate handling energy, environmental, elections, and external municipal services for the League.
