The email must have\u00a0WORK GROUP as the subject line. The body of the email must contain the following information:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The name of the ONE workgroup you would be interested in participating in: Option 1 (Detroit), Option 2 (Detroit) or Option 3 (Marquette)<\/li>\n<li>Your name<\/li>\n<li>Mailing address<\/li>\n<li>Email address<\/li>\n<li>Phone number<\/li>\n<li>Occupation or job title and the name of the employer or organization that you are affiliated with.<\/li>\n<li>A brief explanation (no more than 150 words) detailing your qualifications for inclusion in the stakeholder workgroup. Do not include attachments with your email.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Bureau will consider all email requests that meet these requirements, and any additional relevant information when establishing the stakeholder workgroups. Requests and inquiries made via telephone or to other Bureau contacts may not be accepted. The Bureau will give preference in the selection of participants to individuals who have not previously participated with a Bureau workgroup.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline to email your request to participate in the adult-use marijuana workgroups is <strong>Monday, April 8, 2019 at 9:00 AM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Selections for the workgroups will be announced by Monday, April 15, 2019. If you are chosen for a workgroup you will be notified directly by the Bureau.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of these workgroups is to gather information only. The Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) is in the process of starting the formal rule-making process pursuant to the Administrative Procedures Act of 1969. To that end, the purpose of the workgroups is to seek input on the regulatory topics.
