They have invested a considerable amount of time and effort putting this information together and we thank them for allowing us to share this information with our members.<\/p>\n<p>The Consortium is a collaboration of over 20 Michigan cities, villages, and townships that worked collectively to establish a model permitting process and fee structure for use of the public rights-of-way. Please click on the following link to view the documents they have made available. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kentwood.us\/DAS\">http:\/\/www.kentwood.us\/DAS<\/a><\/p>\n<p>PROTEC has also been very generous and is allowing us to share a &#8220;simple&#8221; model ordinance that they have created. PROTEC was formed in 1996 by several Michigan cities interested in protecting their citizens\u2019 control over public rights-of-way. Their model ordinance can be found at the following link. <a href=\"\/inside208\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2019\/03\/PROTEC-Small-Cell-Ordinance.pdf\">PROTEC Small Cell Ordinance<\/a><\/p>\n<p>AT&amp;T has also provided the League with a model ordinance. If you would like a copy of the ordinance, please contact John LaMacchia at jlamacchia@mml.org.<\/p>\n<p>Member communities are welcomed to use these documents to update and\/or establish a uniform permitting process for your community.
