Online registration for the Rural Task Force Outreach Training in October is now active.\u00a0All sessions will begin with check-in and a light breakfast at 8:30 am, a Welcome address at 8:50 am and the training session starting at 9:00 am and ending around 4:00 pm.\u00a0 Lunch will be provided.<\/p>\n

There will be presentations from FHWA, MDOT Office of Passenger Transportation, MDOT Local Agency Programs, and MDOT RTF Core Team.\u00a0 The Outreach will cover information on changing guidance related to funding and fund transfers, the LAP obligation process and how allocation and obligation authority are effected, the new NEPA process (environmental clearance), how transit fits into the RTF program, the changes to project selection and RPA\/RTF updated workflow utilizing JobNet, General Program Accounts guidance (why it is important to the RTF program), what requires action at a RTF meeting vs e-mail vote, what is a federal amendment, the STIP process, development of the 2020-2023 S\/TIP, and the Local Federal Fund Exchange Program for 2019.<\/p>\n
