These laws, Public Acts <a href=\"http:\/\/legislature.mi.gov\/documents\/2011-2012\/publicact\/pdf\/2011-PA-0261.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">261<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/legislature.mi.gov\/documents\/2011-2012\/publicact\/pdf\/2011-PA-0262.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">262<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/legislature.mi.gov\/documents\/2011-2012\/publicact\/pdf\/2011-PA-0263.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">263<\/a> of 2011, are designed to remove barriers to municipal service sharing and cooperation.<\/p>\n<p>The Michigan Municipal League has put together a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mml.org\/resources\/publications\/one_pagers\/Service_Sharing_and_Labor_Agreements_2012-1-26.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">one-pager<\/a> with more detailed information on these changes. As we get into this new year, we hope you will find these changes beneficial.
