Included in Snyder&rsquo;s budget proposal is total funding of nearly $3.4 billion for transportation which is an increase of 4.4 percent&nbsp;from the previous year.<\/p>\n<p>The transportation budget proposal matches all available federal highway aid for 2012. With the match of federal highway aid, the budget proposal provides $2.6 billion for state and local road and bridge construction maintenance projects. Additionally, the Governor&rsquo;s budget proposal includes just over $300 million for public transportation services.
