These values can be found in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.michigan.gov\/treasury\/-\/media\/Project\/Websites\/treasury\/ORTA\/County-and-Statutory-Revenue-Sharing\/FY-2026\/FY-2026-Statutory-Revenue-Sharing-CVT--2025-Taxable-Values.xlsx?rev=04bbcdfd4fcf459ab774e984b8eb8034&amp;hash=8FEA938FB17B50AF094112854E23CE92\"><em>FY 2026 Statutory Revenue Sharing (Local Unit) &#8211; 2025 Ad Valorem Taxable Values<\/em><\/a><em>\u00a0<\/em>report, available on Treasury\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.michigan.gov\/treasury\/local\/share\/evip\">Statutory Revenue Sharing website<\/a>. Local units may need to work with their local assessor to verify the taxable values.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>FY 2026 Statutory Revenue Sharing (Local Unit) &#8211; 2025 Ad Valorem Taxable Values<\/em><\/strong><strong> Report:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The 2025 ad valorem taxable values reflect the real and personal property ad valorem taxable values as of the <strong>State Equalization in May 2025<\/strong> (as reported on Form 4626).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Report Notes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Taxable values <strong>include<\/strong> the taxable value of exempt renaissance zone property, senior and disabled housing, and disabled veterans&#8217; homesteads.<\/li>\n<li>Taxable values <strong>exclude\u00a0<\/strong>valuation change orders from the July or December Board of Review, Michigan Tax Tribunal, or State Tax Commission.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Township <\/strong>net taxable values <strong>exclude<\/strong> <strong>village<\/strong> taxable values for revenue sharing calculation purposes.<\/li>\n<li>For <strong>cities and villages<\/strong> located in more than one county, the taxable values are reported in the corresponding county where the property is located.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>If No Errors are Identified:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If the 2025 ad valorem taxable values are correct, <strong>no action is needed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If Errors are Identified:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If the 2025 ad valorem taxable values are incorrect,<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>the local unit should <strong>submit <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.michigan.gov\/treasury\/-\/media\/Project\/Websites\/treasury\/ORTA\/County-and-Statutory-Revenue-Sharing\/FY-2026\/Form-6167---Correction-of-2025-TVs.pdf?rev=efaec5d6fb4443d1b1472bc071621596&amp;hash=171D9494404F8F55BAD171616AA98C5F\"><strong>Form 6167 &#8211; <em>Correction of 2025 Ad Valorem Taxable Values Used for the FY 2026 Statutory Revenue Sharing Payments<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, along with substantiating documentation, to Treasury by <strong>March 31, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please direct questions regarding FY 2026 Statutory Revenue Sharing payments to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:TreasRevenueSharing@michigan.gov?subject=2025%20Revenue%20Sharing%20Taxable%20Value%20Correction\">TreasRevenueSharing@michigan.gov<\/a> or 517-335-7484.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Dave Hodgkins is a legislative associate with the League.
