The Michigan Infrastructure Council (MIC) is excited to welcome a new cohort of infrastructure leaders into the Asset Management Champions Program<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Michigan Infrastructure Council’s Asset Management Champions program cultivates a statewide culture of effective infrastructure management. This training empowers public sector employees and contractors with fundamental municipal asset management principles and practical strategies, enabling them to implement robust programs.<\/p>\n

The interactive training program combines asynchronous education, facilitated discussions and industry learning into a professional certificate from MIC. It will run from\u00a0August 12th<\/sup>\u00a0\u2013 October 30th<\/sup>, 2025,\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<\/strong>requires ~25 hours to complete.\u00a0The program is entirely funded by MIC and is free for participants<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

So far,\u00a0over 600 Michiganders<\/strong>\u00a0have graduated from the program as Asset Management Champions.\u00a098%<\/strong>\u00a0of participants feel they are now able to be successful Asset Management Champions within their organizations. Due to the overwhelming success and positive feedback received from previous classes, we are committed to welcoming a new class that will build their AM awareness, deepen their AM knowledge, and further establish a community of AM Champions across the state.<\/p>\n

The MIC welcomes all local, regional or state government employees, public infrastructure owners or leaders from industry organizations. The deadline to apply is August 8th<\/sup>, 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n
