{"id":12460,"date":"2024-05-28T09:00:06","date_gmt":"2024-05-28T13:00:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mml.org\/inside208\/?p=12460"},"modified":"2024-05-27T12:29:43","modified_gmt":"2024-05-27T16:29:43","slug":"asset-management-champions-program-application-now-open","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mml.org\/inside208\/2024\/05\/28\/asset-management-champions-program-application-now-open\/","title":{"rendered":"Asset Management Champions Program Application Now Open!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Michigan Infrastructure Council (MIC) is welcoming a new cohort of infrastructure leaders into the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.michigan.gov\/mic\/am-champions\">Asset Management Champions Program<\/a>.<\/strong> The interactive training program combines asynchronous education, facilitated discussions and industry learning into a professional certificate from MIC. It will run from <strong>August 6<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 October 24<sup>th<\/sup>, 2024, <\/strong>and requires ~25 hours to complete. <strong>The program is entirely funded by MIC and is free for participants<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>So far, <strong>over 500 Michiganders<\/strong> have graduated from the program as Asset Management Champions. <strong>98%<\/strong> of participants feel they are now able to be successful Asset Management Champions within their organizations. Due to the overwhelming success and positive feedback received from previous classes, we are committed to welcoming a new class that will build their AM awareness, deepen their AM knowledge, and further establish a community of AM Champions across the state.<\/p>\n<p>The MIC welcomes all local, regional, or state government employees, public infrastructure owners or leaders from industry organizations.
