This morning the House Tax Policy Committee passed House Bill 4348<\/a>, a bill that would create a property tax exemption for all disabled veterans.<\/p>\n

This legislation would have an indeterminate but potentially significant impact on the revenue of local units of government depending on the scope of the exemption. The League indicated its opposition. The bill now goes to the House floor for consideration.<\/p>\n
