Pursuant to PA 480 of 2006, the Uniform Video Franchise Act, Section 12(2), the Michigan Public Service Commission shall file an annual report to the Governor and Legislature that includes information on the status of video service competition in Michigan.<\/p>\n

To assist MPSC Staff with gathering information for the report, the Commission is requesting communities complete their electronic survey, which is open now at michigan.gov\/mpsc.<\/a>\u00a0Responses to the survey are due by November 13, 2023<\/u><\/strong>. Please note that the survey will not be available on the website after November 13, 2023. <\/em>You may find the survey by following these steps:<\/p>\n

  1. Go to gov\/mpsc<\/strong><\/a> and click on \u201cRegulatory Information\u201d at the top of the page.<\/li>\n
  2. Next, scroll down and click on \u201cTelecommunications\u201d at the<\/li>\n
  3. Lastly, click on \u201cVideo\/Cable Regulatory Information,\u201d and you will find the survey under the \u201cProvider & Franchise Entity Information\u201d category.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The survey is quick and easy and should take only a few minutes of your time. It is essential that MPSC Staff receives feedback from franchise entities. Your feedback will help to provide MPSC Staff with a better insight into the video\/cable issues that may be occurring in your community. While MPSC Staff cannot provide answers to the survey questions, please contact Staff if you require clarification regarding the questions being asked.<\/p>\n
