The webinar will guide the application process, assist eligible entities with strategic planning for EECBG funds, and help align EECBG projects with existing climate and environmental justice goals. Webinar details:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Thursday, January 26, 2023 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. ET:\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/teams.microsoft.com\/registration\/zD4Ya1VL1U6z-H9kvhxBOA,nsOjn8n0eUWOPcOjOzN6tQ,QUC3EUlERUGRjblt6LNRBA,uUky-lrUjUC7ytgrCz9XzQ,CFDmpRdYjkCdxSUti6jUFg,4yf56oPijE2O872Uy-MsHw?mode=read&amp;tenantId=6b183ecc-4b55-4ed5-b3f8-7f64be1c4138&amp;webinarRing=gcc\">Introduction to the EECBG Program for Local Governments<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.energy.gov\/clean-energy-infrastructure\/energy-efficiency-and-conservation-block-grant-program-formula-grant\">DOE EECBG Hub<\/a> has information on how to apply, templates and upcoming webinars. The Administrative and Legal Requirements Document (ALRD) and application instructions include extensive information regarding application timelines, eligibility requirements, administrative guidelines, and more to guide eligible entities through the application process.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>One key program feature worth mentioning is an optional voucher program for communities that receive less than $250,000. Instead of receiving the formula grant, the value can be exchanged for Technical Assistance or as an Equipment Rebate. DOE will provide more information about this voucher program on a webinar scheduled for Feb. 9 (registration link forthcoming).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mml.org\/inside208\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/01\/Copy-of-EECBG-Program_Attachment-1a.-_Local-Govt.-Allocations_FINAL2.pdf\">Here is a list<\/a> of cities, townships, and counties eligible for the direct EECBG formula allocation.
