This bill would <\/span>take the regulation of this industry, which either unintentionally or intentionally deals in stolen property, out of the hands of local governments who are responsible for the health, safety and well-being of their citizens. The League joins law enforcement organizations in opposition to this bill and has indicated opposition to the sponsor and committee.&nbsp; The bill has already passed the Senate, and the H-1 substitute is attached for League member review.<\/p>\n<p><em>Samantha Harkins is the Director of  State Affairs for the League.
