The Michigan High-Speed Internet Office’s (MIHI) Michigan’s Inclusive Training Technology and Equity Network (MITTEN) grant is still open through July 24, 2024. The MITTEN grant aims to improve digital adoption across Michigan, especially in underserved communities, by establishing regional resource hubs and host sites for Regional Digital Coordinators. This initiative is based on feedback from the 2023 MI Connected Future listening tour and is funded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and the 2021 Digital Equity Act.
Application Period: June 24, 2024 – July 24, 2024
Eligible stakeholders can learn more about the MITTEN grant and access application materials on the MIHI website. Recordings from the recent MIHI Update webinar and pre-application conference are also available on the MIHI website. Nonprofit organizations, community anchor institutions, local governments, and other community-based organizations are encouraged to apply. Collaborative applications from multiple eligible organizations are strongly recommended.
