The Michigan Municipal League recently attended a webinar by the National Civic League.  As part of our commitment to lifting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategies we are sharing this resource as something to consider while working on your community budgets.

The National Civic League’s webinar was called Engaging the Public to Create an Equitable Budget, and it featured Shayne Kavanagh, Senior Manager of Research, GFOA; Chris Adams, President, Balancing Act; and Tiffany Waddell Blackwell, Senior Strategy & Budget Analyst, City of Charlotte, NC
