Input needed: Field Manager phase out coming

Posted on May 25, 2018 by Dene Westbrook

We need your input! You may not be aware that MDOT – and all DOTs nationally – are moving to the cloud-based AASHTOWare to manage all MDOT-let projects – and will walk away from Field Manager, likely in 2020.  Currently, there is a national limitation that will not allow local agencies to use AASHTOWare to administer locally-let projects.

If you are using Field Manager to manage your locally-let projects, you will have to change systems.  The Country Road Association and the League already have a work group in place looking at a successor system. Together we created a survey to seek input from our members and American Consulting Engineers Council (ACEC) consultants who are involved with Field Manager for locally-let projects.  Your check-the-box answers to these 23 questions will help us understand the magnitude of the situation and guide our next steps.

We request that you complete the survey linked here by Mon., June 4.
