League Sends Letter Detailing EVIP Concerns to Governor Snyder

Posted on April 17, 2013 by Dene Westbrook

Last week at the League’s Capital Conference our members expressed significant frustration with EVIP. During the Q&A following Governor Snyder’s speech he indicated that he wanted to hear from us regarding our concerns with the program.

This afternoon we sent this letter to the Governor expressing various concerns with the program: EVIP letter to Gov 4_17_13final.pdf (909.65 kb)

We understand your frustration with EVIP, and we want to compile suggestions and anecdotes to send to the Governor’s office. If you’re interested please e-mail letters to me, and we will submit them to the Governor’s staff. View these EVIP talking points that League members can use when discussing the issue with their residents and state lawmakers.
