MDOT Attempting to Spend Down $4.1 Million for the Small Urban Program

Posted on March 25, 2013 by Dene Westbrook

The Small Urban Program is looking to advance previously committed projects from FY 2014 to 2013. They are asking you to review the attached list and notify them if projects can be advanced by April 1, 2013. To qualify, all projects must be design ready with program applications submitted to MDOT Local Agency Programs by May. The deadline to request obligation of funds to FHWA is September 13, 2013. If projects cannot be identified for advancement, MDOT will look at funding new priorities. Program guidelines will remain the same regarding public involvement and funding amounts.
