The Michigan Municipal League supports Senate Bill 252, introduced by Senator Jack Brandenburg, that would create a Marine Dredging Loan Program in Michigan. This program will help eligible marina’s obtain the financing necessary to dredge their facilities. The League supports, and will continue to support, reasonable ways to address the dredging needs in Michigan. This bill has been voted out of the Senate and is currently awaiting a hearing before the House Natural Resources Committee.
