Cell tower collocation issues subject of FCC webcast

On Tuesday, May 1st, the Federal Communications Commission, in cooperation with the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA), will host an educational workshop addressing collocations of wireless and broadband antennas on communications towers and other structures.  The workshop will take place on Tuesday, May 1, 2012, from 9:30 AM – 4 PM EDT.

While the workshop will take place at FCC Headquarters in Washington, D.C., it is also being offered free of charge at the same as a webcast. To view the webcast, go to www.fcc.gov/live on the day of the event.  Viewers may submit questions by e-mail to [email protected].  Viewers are encouraged but not required to pre-register.  Please send an e-mail to [email protected] to pre-register for the webcast.

Along with discussions on technical and legal collocation issues, the webcast will also feature examples of collaborative solutions and discuss the significance of the FCC’s Nationwide Programmatic Agreement for the Collocation of Wireless Antennas.
