Completing the MGC Challenge is an excellent way to gain recognition for your local government’s sustainability efforts\, get access to technical support\, and become part of an exclusive peer network of sustainability-minded local government professionals. \nMichigan Green Communities (MGC) is a statewide network of government and higher education staff and officials who collaborate to promote innovative sustainability\, climate change\, and environmental justice solutions at the local\, state\, regional\, national\, and international levels. The core component of the MGC program is the MGC Challenge\, an annual sustainability benchmarking program.
