Emily is a senior at Michigan State University and news director at MSU's student radio station, IMPACT 89FM. She hosts a weekly talk show called IMPACT Exposure, which focuses on topics and issues relevant to Michigan and the MSU community. She discussed what young people are looking for when they select a community where they plan to live.
Emily explains what it’ll take to get Michigan’s college graduates to remain in their home state. They want affordable communities that friendly to walkers and cyclists .
Suzanne is the Director of the Planning Department for the City of Grand Rapids and a small business owner. She talked about how downtown Grand Rapids and her business have been impacted by the presence of Grand Valley State University.
