Display ads are scattered throughout the magazine among
the editorial content, and business card style ads are placed in a directory
section called the Municipal Marketplace. The online version of the magazine
may be viewed only by full members of the Michigan Municipal League.

Rates
Rates include both the print and
online versions. If you are submitting artwork for a display ad for
the print version
of the magazine, please
also submit separate artwork for the online version. Guidelines for

Rates
An online ad is included when you purchase a display ad in
the print version of Michigan Municipal Review.
Color
Online ads may be full-color.
Links
Online ads may not link to your website, but may have your
web site address printed in the ad.

Acceptance of Advertising
All advertisements are subject to the
approval of the editor and publisher.
Advertising Materials
Please supply digital artwork in PC format
and camera-ready image for confirmation. Guidelines for submitting
digital art. Email art to Artwork@mml.org,
or mail art on CD to MMR, 1675 Green Road, Ann Arbor,
MI 48105.
Typesetting/Design Service
$100 per hour or portion thereof for
new ads.
Discounts/Agency Commission:
Alliance discount and Agency Commission may not be combined.

3 -5 insertions in a 12-month period reserved at the same
time, 5% discount

6+ insertions in a 12-month period reserved at the same
time, 10% discount

Silver level in the The Alliance, 10%
discount on display ads that are ½ page or larger

Gold or Platinum level in the The Alliance, 10% discount
on all display ads

Non-profit or State agency, 10% on all display ads

Commission to recognized advertising agency (not internal
marketing department) 15% on MMR display ads only. No commission on
Municipal
Marketplace ads or online Classified ads.
Tear Sheets:
As proof of publication, advertisers or their representatives
receive with their invoice two copies of each issue carrying their
advertisement.
Preferred Positions:
Inquire about availability – add 10% to
total cost.
Payment
Payment is due upon receipt of invoice. Invoices
more than 30 days past due will be charged a late fee of 2% per month.
If payment
is more than 60 days past due, prepayment may be required for
future insertions.
Limited Liability:
Responsibility for claims and actions based
on advertising content is borne by the advertiser, individual
or professional
firm, and the advertising agency. The Michigan Municipal League
shall not be responsible for any damages to persons or property,
direct,
incidental or consequential, including lost profits and commercial
loss, nor shall it incur any liability with respect to this
agreement, in excess of the cost of the services paid under this agreement.
Any damage or liability is expressly limited to the cost of
services
paid by the subscriber.
