Retirement Plan Products, Services and Planning

In 1995 the MML and the ICMA Retirement Corporation (ICMA-RC) formed an alliance* wherein the MML contracted with ICMA-RC to promote their retirement programs. ICMA-RC is a leader in providing retirement plan services exclusively to the public sector. ICMA-RC is responsible for over $17 billion in retirement assets. In addition to offering 457 Deferred Compensation and 401(a) Defined Contribution Plans, ICMA-RC also provides Retirement Health Savings Plans and Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs).

This program also offers exceptional educational opportunities for public employers and employees.

Administration charges by ICMA-RC for its qualified defined contribution plans have been lowered for MML members. ICMA-RC also offers deferred compensation plans which can be offered along with their qualified plan or as a stand alone product.

The ICMA-RC Great Lakes Territorial office is located in the MML’s Ann Arbor headquarters building.
