About IACET & Why We Ask
MML is an authorized provider of the Continuing Education Unit (CEU)
through the International Association for Continuing Education and Training
(IACET).
Organizations that meet IACETs continuing education and training standards
are approved as Authorized Providers and may award Continuing Education
Units (CEUs).
IACET's Criteria and Guidelines are at the core of
thousands of educational programs world wide. IACET approval is the standard
learners seek for quality. IACET's Criteria and Guidelines for Quality
Continuing Education and Training are the organization's foundation.
Organizations that meet the International Association of Continuing Education
Training's internationally recognized continuing education and training
standards are approved as Authorized Providers.
Many organizations offer some form of continuing education credit
but only the IACET CEU is held to the strict, research-based IACET
Criteria and Guidelines for Continuing Education and Training. Only
IACET Authorized Providers, who undergo a strict evaluation by continuing
education peers, can award the IACET CEU. IACET Authorized Providers
are required to re-apply and be reauthorized every five years.
IACET Authorized Provider Status Means the Organization:
-
Demonstrates compliance with proven, research-based criteria created
in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Education.
-
Is dedicated to high standards for quality in continuing education
and training.
-
Awards the IACET CEU, a hallmark for quality in continuing education
and training.
-
There are some organizations, universities and state boards
that recognize and accept the CEUs for a specific credential or
license. If your college or university is not listed here, check with your
registrar to find out if you can convert CEU's to college credits.
