The Michigan Medical Marihuana Act (MMMA) Two Years Later The MMMA has been in effect for two years now, yet there are still many unanswered questions. How and where is medical marijuana dispensed? What are the implications for a municipality as an employer? On average, the state Department of Community Health is receiving 70+ medical marijuana patient applications a day.
