Online Public Notice Hearing Scheduled; Contact Your Legislators!

The House Judiciary Committee has posted for a hearing on the online public notice bills on Wednesday, May 12 at 10:30 am in room 521 of the House Office Building. It is critical to contact your legislators and ask for their support on this legislation. These bills will save our communities money and increase government transparency by allowing more people to view the notices. MORE>

Michigan Top Five in National Census Participation Rates! – The U.S. Census Bureau has announced that Michigan is one of a handful of states that has exceeded its mail-in participation rate from the 2000 census. Michigan's return rate of 77 percent, ranked in the top five states in the country! And Livonia ranked first in participation in the entire country for cities over 50,000 in population. MORE>
